Plein Air Painting (8-14Y)
7/13 – 7/17 @1:30PM – 4:30PM
7/27 – 7/31 @9:00AM – 12:00PM
Step outside the classroom and into nature! In our Plein Air Painting summer camp, children will explore the beauty of the natural world through outdoor drawing and painting experiences. Surrounded by landscapes, light, and changing environments, students will learn to observe carefully and discover inspiration using their own eyes.
Through guided activities, children will practice composition, line, color, and the use of focus and atmosphere, while learning how to simplify and interpret what they see. Rather than copying reality, students are encouraged to express their personal impressions and creatively record the world as they experience it. This camp nurtures observation skills, artistic confidence, and a deeper connection with nature.

Sketch Summer Camp (8-14Y)
7/13 – 7/17 @9:00AM – 12:00PM
7/27 – 7/31 @1:30PM – 4:30PM
Build a strong foundation in drawing! In our Sketch summer camp, children will be introduced to the fundamentals of sketching and observational drawing through structured and level-appropriate instruction. Based on each student’s experience, lessons may include line control, shading techniques, and learning how to accurately observe and capture form.
Through guided practice, students will work from basic exercises such as line studies and shape construction, and progress toward drawing geometric plaster forms and introductory figure references. This camp focuses on developing solid drawing skills, improving accuracy in proportion and structure, and building confidence in visual observation. Sketch provides an essential foundation for all future painting and creative work.
